Privacy Policy
Lyfecore Axiom Inc. ("Lyfecore Axiom," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through lyfecoreaxiom.com (the "Site"), how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a Building Performance Review, contact us, or interact with our Axiom Assistant chat, you may provide your name, email address, phone number, organization, facility details (such as type, size, and current lighting), and any other information you choose to include in a message or notes field.
Conversations with the Axiom Assistant. Messages you send to our chat assistant are transmitted to our service providers to generate a response, and may be retained and reviewed by us so we can follow up on your inquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics provider automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and on-site interactions, using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and tracking below).
2. Cookies and tracking
We use HubSpot, a customer-relationship and analytics platform, which places cookies on your device to recognize returning visitors, measure how the Site is used, and support our communications. These cookies may be set while you browse the Site.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although some features of the Site may not function properly if you do. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to respond to inquiries; schedule and prepare assessments and proposals; operate the Axiom Assistant; communicate with you about our products and services; measure and improve the Site; and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
We send commercial electronic messages only in accordance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
4. Service providers and disclosure
We share personal information with service providers who help us operate the Site and our business, including HubSpot (customer relationship management, marketing, and analytics), our website hosting and chat-assistant infrastructure providers, and our email providers. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
Some of these providers, and the servers on which your information is stored, are located in the United States and other countries. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information may be processed and stored outside Canada, where it may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities under the laws of those jurisdictions.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information where required or permitted by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Lyfecore Axiom, our clients, or others.
5. The Axiom Assistant (AI chat)
The Axiom Assistant uses third-party artificial-intelligence services to generate responses. Conversations are processed by those providers on our behalf. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat. We may retain transcripts to follow up on your request and to improve the assistant.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, after which we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Safeguards
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Under PIPA and PIPEDA, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer below. We will respond within the timelines required by law.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
10. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and professionals and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
